Donald Trump’s Return to the White House Could Spell Trouble for Prince Harry’s US Visa, Expert Warns

As Donald Trump inches closer to his return to the White House, a royal commentator has suggested that the issue of Prince Harry’s US visa may be weighing on the former president’s mind. Ahead of the upcoming presidential term, Trump had previously raised concerns about the Duke of Sussex’s visa application, particularly in relation to allegations that Harry may have misrepresented his use of illegal drugs on the paperwork.

During a discussion on GB News, royal expert Lee Cohen stated that while addressing the visa issue may not be an immediate priority for Trump, it remains something he is undoubtedly considering. "It does seem like the Sussexes' fortunes have taken a turn, with their poor behavior and judgment catching up with them," Cohen remarked, adding that Trump’s potential re-election is likely to cause some discomfort for Harry and Meghan.

The expert speculated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who currently reside in Montecito, California, could be experiencing some sleepless nights ahead of Trump’s potential return to power. "I imagine there have been some sleepless nights in Montecito," Cohen said. "With Trump's victory, there will definitely be some anxiety over what action might be taken, especially as their popularity continues to dwindle."

Cohen went on to suggest that regardless of where the Sussexes choose to settle, be it in Montecito, Canada, or even back in the UK at Frogmore Cottage, their presence seems increasingly unwelcome. "It’s clear they have worn out their welcome in many places," he added.

While Cohen acknowledged that Trump likely has other pressing concerns, including international issues like Iran, China, and Ukraine, the fact that the president’s son, Eric Trump, had commented on the Sussexes’ unpopularity suggests that Harry’s visa situation is still very much on Trump’s radar.

Previously, Eric Trump had dismissed Harry and Meghan as "unpopular" figures in America, stating that "no one cares" about them. While it remains unclear if Trump will take any formal action, Cohen's remarks highlight that the Duke and Duchess may have cause for concern in the coming months.
